The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Groningen offers
three Rosalind Franklin Fellowships for outstanding female scientists.
The department of Operations solicits applications from ambitious,
creative women, who aim for a career towards full professorship in
Operations Management/Operations Research in a European top research
university.

The department of Operations contributes to a range of bachelor and
master programmes (from Supply Change Management to Operations
Research). Our research in a variety of OM/OR subfields is conducted in
the KNAW accredited research institute OPERA, see:

Successful candidates will set up their own research projects in the
area of their choice and will be expected to attract external funding.
They will also be expected to participate in and contribute to the
development of the teaching programme of the faculty. The positions
include entry into a tenure track system, leading to promotion following
a successful tenure evaluation within 5 years.

The Rosalind Franklin Fellowship is a 5-year programme. Salaries start
at a minimum of € 44,000 gross per year. Candidates will be expected to
concentrate on both research and teaching, with generous research time.
To support this the Rosalind Franklin-fellow will be granted with a PhD
student; research and financial facilities are available. For non Dutch
applicants a favorable income tax regime (30%) is applicable.
