The International Conference on Optimization, Simulation and Control
(COSC’2010) will take place on July 25-28, 2010 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

This is the third event in the series of conferences on Optimization in
Mongolia following two successful meetings
held in 2002, 2007.

The conference is sponsored by the National University of Mongolia and
co-sponsored by a number of other higher education and research
institutions. The working language of the conference is English.

The goal of COSC’2010 is to bring together engineers, scientists, and
mathematicians from a variety of related disciplines, who are at the
forefront of their research fields, to exchange ideas and present
original high level unpublished research in the areas of optimization
and optimal control, with particular interests in the following topics,
but not limited to,:

-Linear, non-linear, combinatorial, parametric, stochastic, multilevel,
multi-objective and global optimization;
-Calculus of variations, optimal control, variational inequalities and
game theory;
-Mathematical Economics;
-Interdisciplinary applications of optimization theory (engineering and
general sciences);
-Biomathematics, protein folding optimization.
-Robust, fuzzy optimization
-Control Theory
-Simulation, Stochastic Process, Numerical Analysis
-Optimization in Signal and Image Processing

The conference includes invited lectures, mini-symposia and peer
reviewed contributed papers.

We plan to put together, as guest editors, a Springer book of
tutorials/lectures, and, possibly, a special issue of the journal
Optimization Letters based on invited papers presented at the conference.

Abstract Submission: May 1, 2010
