Annals of Operations Research 

Special Issue: Stochastic Modeling and Optimization 

 

The Annals of Operations Research seeks submissions for a special volume on
Stochastic Modeling and Optimization dedicated to the 80th birthday of
Professor András Prékopa. 

The deadline for submission is May 15, 2010. 

The main topics of interest are: 

. stochastic optimization models 

. models of risk 

. structure and stability of optimization models under uncertainty 

. numerical methods of stochastic optimization 

. combinatorial techniques in stochastic optimization

Authors should submit a cover letter and a manuscript by May 15, 2010 via
the Journal's online submission site. 

Please see Author Instructions on the site if you have not yet submitted a
paper through this web-based system. Be sure to note in the Manuscript
Comment text that your work is intended for the Special Issue and to select
the article type SI: Prékopa: Stochastic Mod. & Opt. 

Papers will be subject to a strict review process managed by the Guest
Editors and accepted papers will be published online individually, before
print publication. 

Manuscripts submitted after the May 15, 2010, deadline may not be considered
for the special volume.
