[Opt-net] Charles Broyden Prize for 2011

The Charles Broyden Prize for the best paper published in the journal Optimization Methods and Software in 2011 is awarded to Didier Henrion and Jerome Malick for the paper:
‘Projection Methods for conic feasibility problems, applications to polynomial sum-of- squares decompositions’ published in Volume 26, No. 1, pp. 23-46.
This article will be freely available until the end of 2012 at:

The paper was unanimously chosen by the prize committee, and in their opinion represents an excellent contribution to the optimization literature.
