3rd Call for Papers of STOPROG-2012
=====================================

Dear Colleague,

the Organizers of the Special Workshop of Stochastic Programming
Community and EURO "Stochastic Programming for Implementation and
Advanced Applications" (StoProg-2012) have a pleasure inviting you to
take part in this Workshop, which will held in Neringa, Lithuania, on
3-6 July, 2012, http://www.mii.lt/STOPROG-2012.

Topics
==================================
The programme of workshop consists of tutorials, streams, invited and
contributed papers. We encourage those interested in the following
topics to overview the trends and gain a common attitude towards:
stochastic linear programming;
stochastic nonlinear programming;
stochastic integer programming;
stochastic programming in equilibrium problems;
stochastic gaming;
stochastic approximation;
stochastic heuristic algorithms;
chance – constrained optimization;
large-scale stochastic optimization;
risk measures and stochastic dominance;
complexity and efficiency of optimization algorithms;
stochastic optimization in data mining;
modeling support and model management for stochastic programs;
data visualization for stochastic programs;
analysis and engineering of algorithms
applications in finance;
applications in energy planning;
applications in transportation and logistics;
applications in agriculture and forestry;
applications in oil and gas industry;
applications in environment and sustainable development;
software development.

Abstracts must be written in English and contain no more than 600
characters (no formulas or mathematical notations are allowed). Each
attendee is allowed to present ONE paper at the conference.

Publications
====================================
The proceedings of the workshop published by an international
publisher and abstracted/referenced in the Thompson ISI Web of Science
DB will be delivered during the workshop. The special issues of papers
on the subject of the workshop will be published in top- rating
journals, too.

Location and Time
====================================
The workshop will be held on July 3-6, 2012, in the Baltic sea-side
resort Nida, Neringa, (http://www.visitneringa.com/en), Lithuania
(http://neris.mii.lt/indexe.php). Neringa, situated on the sandy
peninsula at the Baltic Sea, is a nice corner of Europe that has to be
explored.
Neringa ideally suits for scientific meetings because of the special
status of United Nations for Neringa a quiet natural environment,
limited urbanization and public attendance composes with modern
organizational infrastructure and convenient connection through
Klaipeda and Vilnius with many cities.

Venue and Accommodation
====================================
The venue of our workshop is Hotel "JURATE", Pamario str. 3, LT-
93121, Nida, Lithuania,
http://www.hotel-jurate.lt/en.
The sittings of the workshop will be held in the Conference center of
hotel “Jurate” and Nida‘s Culture and Tourism Information Center
“Agila”, Taikos str. 4, LT-93121, Nida, Lithuania,
http://www.visitneringa.com/en/main/agilaen.
Participants will be mainly accommodated in hotel “Jurate”, however we
