We are seeking an acknowledged expert in an area of applied mathematics
with relations to one of the research fields at the institute.
Cooperation with other groups within the mathematics department
and with the natural and engineering sciences is expected.
The successful candidate is expected to represent the field of
applied mathematics in teaching and research and to contribute
to the teaching of numerical mathematics, and to an appropriate
extent to the teaching service for other departments.
Conditions of appointment are in accordance with § 25,
Niedersachsen Higher Education Act (NHG).
