Just a gentle reminder that the deadline for the Research Fellow/Postdoc position (Operational Research) in our department is 29/08.

Salary: £31,656 - £37,768 per annum.
Terms: 18-month fixed term.
Deadlines: 29/08/2016.

This is a position in Operations Research/ Optimisation/ Computational Intelligence for Transport/Logistics. The required qualification and experience is a PhD or near PhD completion in Computing, Engineering or Mathematics or other relevant areas with a focus on operational research or computational intelligence, and a proportionate publication record. The successful candidate should have strong programming skills and experience in working with combinatorial problems and/or discrete-event or multi-agent simulation. Experience with project management and administrative work would be highly advantageous.
