CALL FOR PAPER: Scheduling in Healthcare Systems - SCHEALS at the 8th International Conference on Applied Operational Research - ICAOR 2016, 28-30 June 2016 Rotterdam, The Netherlands.



The SCHEALS workshop will take place in conjunction with the International Conference on Applied Operational Research. We invite you to join your colleagues for this international forum. Sharing of ideas, knowledge and experience is the primary goal of the workshop. The meeting would be ideal for young researchers to present their work, even at a preliminary stage, for constructive discussion and feedback. The workshop covers the general area of scheduling with particular emphasis on healthcare applications, including, but not limited to:



*        Automation

*        Expert Systems

*        Exact Methods and Optimization

*        Heuristics and Metaheuristics

*        Machine Scheduling

*        Patient Scheduling

*        Personnel Scheduling

*        Rescheduling and Shift Timetabling

*        Queuing, Simulation and Uncertainty



Paper Submission

Researchers wishing to contribute to the conference are invited to submit manuscripts of not more than 6 pages in MS Word either as full papers or extended abstracts. All submissions will be reviewed by at least two referees and successful papers will be included in the conference proceedings, which will be published in the Lecture Notes in Management Science series. Please use ICAOR-template<http://www.orlabanalytics.ca/icaor/icaor_template.pdf> when preparing your manuscript for submission. Papers should be submitted in MS Word via email to icaor at orlabanalytics.ca<mailto:icaor at orlabanalytics.ca>.



28-Feb-2016 - Paper submission deadline
