[Opt-Net] Open position as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at TU Wien

The Research Unit Operations Research and Control Systems (ORCOS), 
Faculty of Mathematics and Geoinformation, TU Wien, invites applications 
for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant position beginning in 
November-December, 2018.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will conduct research in the 
field of continuous optimization and optimal control. The research is 
expected to result in publications in high-level journals. 	

The contract is for a 40h/week employment for a period of 2 years. The 
monthly salary is currently (in accordance with FWF) EUR 3.711,10 gross 
(14 times per year).

The successful candidate will have a PhD degree in Mathematics or 
Applied Mathematics. Knowledge in optimal control, optimization, 
nonsmooth and variational analysis, and experience in programming with 
Matlab will be advantageous, although not necessary.
