Dear Colleague,

this is a gentle reminder to submit your contribution to the 17th Workshop on Advances in Continuous Optimization (EUROPT 2019) by today *** March 18th 2019 ***.
If you would like to contribute to the event, but have problems to submit the contribution within the deadline, please contact the organisers at europt2019 at icelab.uk

Contributions on "Analysis and engineering of optimization algorithms", "Data driven optimization", "Nature inspired methods and algorithms", "Optimization for learning and data analysis", "Artificial and Computational intelligence based optimization methods and applications" are particularly welcomed.

The submission process (abstract of 600 characters / ~ 100 words) is done through the EURO submission system. You can find the link and the instructions at http://icelab.uk/europt-2019/abstract-submission/

The EUROPT Workshop, the annual event of the EUROPT Continuous Optimization working group of EURO - held on 28-29 June 2019 at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK - brings together researchers from Europe and around the globe for stimulating discussions on the latest developments in continuous optimization. Authors are invited to submit abstracts especially (but not only) on one or more of the topics mentioned at http://icelab.uk/europt-2019/call-for-abstracts/

This year, PLENARY SPEAKERS are (in alphabetical order):
- Claire Adjiman - Professor of Chemical Engineering, at the Imperial College, London
- Daniel Kuhn - Professor of Operations Research at the College of Management of Technology at EPFL
- Margaret Wright - Silver Professor of Computer Science at Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University
