Dear colleagues,

we are pleased to announce the online conference

„Trends in Modelling, Simulation and Optimisation: Theory and Applications"

         on March, the 2nd and 3rd, 2021.

The meeting aims at connecting leading experts in applied mathematics,
computer science and industry, with the objective of stimulating
fruitful discussions between researchers and industrial partners on
today´s challenges in energy, logistics, natural sciences and
engineering. Details can be found here:

https://www.trr154.fau.de/trends-in-mathematical-modelling-simulation-and-optimisation/

The conference features - among others - talks by Peter Benner (MPI
Magdeburg), Martine Labbé (Université Libre de Bruxelles), Santanu Dey
(Georgia Tech),  Nick Sahinidis (CMU), Simone Göttlich (Universität
Mannheim), Claudia d'Ambrosio (Ecole Polytechnique), Sandrine
Charousset-Brignol (Electricité de France), and Utz-Uwe Haus (HPE Europe).

If you want to participate, please register free of charge until
February, 26th, 2021, using the link above.

The conference is jointly organized by the Marie-Curie ITN MINOA
(„Mixed-Integer Nonlinear Optimization: Algorithms and Applications“,
www.minoa-itn.fau.de), the CRC TRR154-2 („Mathematical Modelling,
Simulation and Optimization using the Example of Gas Networks“,
www.trr154.fau.de) and  the ADA Lovelace Center at Fraunhofer IIS.
