The Institute of Mathematics and Scientific Computing at the University 
of Graz is filling a

*** 6-year faculty position in the research group "Mathematics of Data 
Science" ***

The research focus of this position is on mathematical foundations and 
interdisciplinary applications of machine learning and inverse problems.

- Close integration into a well-established, interdisciplinary 
cooperation network of several research groups in Graz working in the 
areas of Inverse Problems, Machine Learning, Optimization and Medical 
Image Processing

- High degree of autonomy; possibility to conduct independent research,

- Part of an active research group working on both mathematical 
foundations and concrete applications with interdisciplinary cooperation
