[Opt-Net] PhD Positions in Optimization at the Weierstrass Institute

Several PhD positions are available immediately at the Weierstrass 
Institute in Berlin, Germany. All three positions are in the research 
group "Nonsmooth Variational Problems and Operator Equations":

We are looking for: candidates with a master’s degree in mathematics or 
a closely related field with a strong background in optimization and 
partial differential equations. All projects involve developing and 
implementing algorithms and prior experience with numerical methods for 
partial differential equations is desired. Prior knowledge in stochastic 
optimization, algorithms for solving games and variational inequalities, 
functional analysis or stochastic analysis is beneficial.
