The School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sydney is recruiting a Lecturer in Data Science. This fixed term (until 2017) level B position - equivalent of Assistant Professor - would suit an early career researcher with a background in data science, optimization, or related areas.

The University of Sydney is one of the largest mathematical sciences schools in Australia. It is the only Australian university to have received the highest rating of 5 out of 5 for research in the mathematical sciences in every Excellence in Research for Australia assessment to date.
