[Opt-Net] PhD or Postdoc Position: Optimization/Dynamical Systems/Games

The Department of Computer Science (Prof. Bichler [1]) at the Technical
University
of Munich (TUM) is seeking a PhD or Postdoctoral student to conduct
research
on optimization and dynamical systems in the field of game theory.
Applicants for the PhD or post-doc position should hold a Master's
degree
in mathematics, computer science, or physics. Interested individuals
should
have a background in mathematical optimization (convex, non-convex),
dynamical systems, and implementation skills (preferably Python).
Applications
will be in the areas of game theory and economics.
Prospective candidates will assist in teaching courses for the group.
German
language skills are helpful but not necessary. Salary (for both PhD
students
and post-docs) is according to the TV-L E13 tariff. The position is
available
for an initial period of 2 years but may be extended.
