[Opt-Net] Reminder: Invitation to the Workshop of the QUANTUMOR working group (Kaiserslautern, 10-12 Sep)

This is a reminder that the 22nd EU/ME meeting x Quantum School on emerging optimization methods - from metaheuristics to quantum-based approaches. The event will take place from September 10-12, 2025 in Kaiserslautern, Germany.

Registration is still open until the 6th of July.

The event is supported by EURO (the Association of European Societies for Operations Research) and includes a summer academy for PhD students (including practical exercises) dedicated to quantum computing and its application to combinatorial optimization problems.

Researchers and in particular PhD students are strongly encouraged to submit research papers that are at the interface between quantum computing and operations research. Possible topics include performance evaluation of quantum algorithms (variational, adiabatic, etc.) for solving optimization problems; application of QAOA and QA to combinatorial problems; experiences with using quantum or hybrid solvers to solve optimization problems, etc.
