[Opt-Net] Full professor position TU Graz, Computational Discrete Mathematics

TU Graz is seeking to appoint a full professor of Computational Discrete
Mathematics for a tenured position according to Section 98 UG, at the
Institute of Discrete Mathematics. We are looking for an internationally
recognized researcher with a high scientific reputation, who is working in
an area of Computational Discrete Mathematics with connections to
Theoretical Computer Science. Topics include, but are not limited to,
discrete and combinatorial optimization, graph algorithms, algorithmic
graph theory, complexity theory, theory of algorithms, or constraint satisfaction
theory.
Applicants must have a doctorate in the field, an excellent scientific
record, teaching skills (as shown by a habilitation or comparable
qualification), international experience in the field, and leadership
skills. Experience in the acquisition and management of research grants
is desirable.
The planned start of the position is October 2026.
