We are pleased to announce that the <strong>6th German Polish
Conference on Optimization</strong> – Methods and Applications
(GPCO6) will be held at the Leucorea in Wittenberg from February 28
to March 4, 2014.<br>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The main topics of the meeting will
include (and it is not limited to) the following:</p>
<ul style="text-align: justify;">
<li>theory of smooth and nonsmooth continuous optimization
problems, variational problems and variational inequalities</li>
<li>numerical methods for mathematical programming</li>
<li>theory and numerical methods in optimal control</li>
<li>applications of optimal control and mathematical programming</li>
