opens one PostDoc position on the modelling and optimization of
an advanced<br>
manufacturing system for the production of architectural windows
and doors.<br>

This position is supported by a grant issued by Regione
Lombardia<br>
and its aim is tech<font face="Courier New">nolog<font
face="Courier New">y</font> trans<font face="Courier New">fer
to <font face="Courier New">the </font>industrial part<font
face="Courier New">ner of the project.</font></font></font><br>

The appointment is for 18 months, with a gross salary of 20.800
EUR per year,<br>
roughly corresponding to 1.500 EUR per month.<br>
<br>
The ideal candidate should hold at least a Master's Degree
(preferably, a Ph.D.) <br>
in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics and a
good expertise <br>
in the development of mathematical programming models, in the
C/C++ implementation<br>
of exact and heuristic algorithms and in the use of
general-purpose software <br>
for optimization.<br>
