</span></b><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:"Noto Sans",sans-serif">The project addresses a broad spectrum in optimal control of PDEs and focusses on some of the most pressing topics: Non-smooth, non-convex optimal control and computational techniques
for feedback control, possibly based on high-dimensional Hamilton Jacobi Bellman equations. Applications include the bidomain equations, which are the established model to describe the electrical activity of the heart.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
