[SCIP] Auto-discard notification

Hi Stefan/Benjamin,
a short correction of my previous post: After copying and renaming
C:/[...]/scip-3.2.1/lib/libnlpi.mingw.x86_64.msvc.opt.lib
to
C:/[...]/scip-3.2.1/lib/libnlpi.cppad.mingw.x86_64.msvc.opt.lib
the examples (VRP and TSP) compile without errors (the error mentioned below occurred because I did not update the dependency files in that particular case).
Thanks again for your help,
David

Hi Stefan/Benjamin,
the good news first: SCIP now compiles without errors. However, trying to compile any of the examples (I tried the VRP and the TSP example as described under http://scip.zib.de/doc/html/START.php) I get the following error message:
$ make COMP=msvc ARCH=x86_64 LPS=cpx ZLIB=false ZIMPL=false READLINE=false GMP=false OPENSOURCE=false
make: *** No rule to make target `C:/[...]/scip-3.2.1/lib/libnlpi.cppad.mingw.x86_64.msvc.opt.lib', needed by `bin/scip_vrp.mingw.x86_64.msvc.opt.cpx.exe'. Stop.
No file "libnlpi.cppad.mingw.x86_64.msvc.opt.lib" exists in the scip-3.2.1/lib directory. A file "libnlpi.mingw.x86_64.msvc.opt", however, does exist. When renaming the latter (not sure if legal), the next error is:
make: *** No rule to make target `../../src/objscip/objscip.h', needed by `obj/O.mingw.x86_64.msvc.opt/cppmain.o'. Stop.
I'm not sure if this is a new problem or still related to the fact that I'm trying to compile on Windows using msvc...
Thanks,
David

Hi,
somehow SCIP's makefiles seem to assumes that you should always link against pthread when linking against cplex.
Just remove everything that has "pthread" in it in make/make.project.
