[SCIP] your wishes for enhancing GCG

Dear SCIPsters,

GCG is part of the SCIP Optimization Suite and a generic
branch-price-and-cut solver as well as a Benders decomposition solver.

The fact that you probably don't know, or never tried GCG, or tried and
failed, brings me to contacting you on this list.

We plan to make GCG more user-friendly (more documentation, use cases,
example projects, ...), more developer-friendly (cleaner, documented
interfaces, ...), and more used in various applications. We would like to
make the code a basis for reproducibility of computational experiments in
decomposition-based methods (like BP&C, Lagrange, Benders) so that everyone
can quickly test ideas, run plausibility checks, or deploy a full-fledged
decomposition solver for a specific application.

I would like to hear about your wishes!

Please contact me DIRECTLY via email, NOT ON THE LIST (I can provide a
summary later). I am happy about user perspective, developer perspective,
and applications perspectives. What would you need to be a happier GCG user?

Thanks and all the best, Marco
