I just tried that, and it still gave the same error. I also tried running gunzip first to get the uncompressed tarball. The gunzip operation doesn’t throw an error. When I try to extract the uncompressed tar, though, that’s when I see the error.

the archive is a .tgz file, which is similar to a .tar.gz file, so it is a tarball compressed with gzip. Therefore, you should try to add 'z' to to options of your tar command.<br class="">
