The course is part of the doctoral teaching program of the Heidelberg
Graduate School. It combines a scientific workshop where leading
scientists from the field present results of their recent research
with a tutorial course where an overview on concepts, theory and
methods is given. This course focuses on the topic of Nonlinear
Optimization.
