6th German Polish Conference on Optimization Methods and Applications,
Wittenberg, Germany, February 28 to March 4, 2014

We are pleased to announce that the *6th German Polish Conference on 
Optimization* -- Methods and Applications (GPCO6) will be held at the 
Leucorea in Wittenberg from February 28 to March 4, 2014.

The main topics of the meeting will include (and it is not limited to) 
the following:

  * theory of smooth and nonsmooth continuous optimization problems,
    variational problems and variational inequalities
  * numerical methods for mathematical programming
  * theory and numerical methods in optimal control
  * applications of optimal control and mathematical programming
