We have an industrial post-doctoral position available in Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool, United Kingdom.

The salary is from £31,372 and the duration is from 12 months, depending on satisfactory progress. The work of this appointment is mainly to carry out industrial research and to develop research funding opportunities. The area of research involves developing and applying optimisation and other operational research techniques to improving the performance of transport systems in real-time. This is an industrial research position and the successful candidate is expected to spend 50% of his/her time with the industrial partner.

The industrial partner would prefer that the successful candidate has the right to work in the UK without having to apply for a work visa.
