Innovating Mathematics for New Industrial Challenges

CALL FOR PAPERS AND POSTERS

 The conference will aim to draw together the considerable community
of researchers and practitioners who develop new mathematics of
relevance to and which underpin applications in Operational Research
(OR).  It will take a comprehensive view, will showcase activity from
across OR, and will welcome both contributions which have a clear
application focus as well as those which are theoretically driven.

 Contributions will be expected to showcase both significant new
mathematics and OR relevance.  The conference will host plenaries from
leading international experts.

Professor Jacek Gondzio (University of Edinburgh)
Professor Edward Kaplan (Yale School of Management)
Dr Guillermo Ortega (European Space Agency)
Professor Bert Zwart (CWI Amsterdam)


Call for Papers: Papers will be considered for the conference based on
a 300 word abstract for oral presentation. Abstracts should be
submitted by Friday 30 December 2016 via https://my.ima.org.uk/*

Call for Posters: The poster session provides an opportunity for
academics and practitioners to showcase their challenges and the
latest developments across the academic-practitioner interface. We are
inviting posters to showcase a problem you are working on, a challenge
which you think could be solved by an academic-practitioner
partnership, or a successful academic-practitioner collaboration.
Posters will be considered for the conference based on a 300 word
abstract. Abstracts should be submitted by Friday 24 February 2017 via
https://my.ima.org.uk/*

Early Bird fees will be available until Monday 27 March 2017, after
which the fees will be:

Early Bird Fees must be paid by Monday 27 March 2017 otherwise the
higher price will be implemented.

Residential Fee £240 including 2 nights single B&B accommodation at
the university with the conference dinner Conference Dinner £40 for
non-residents
