[Opt-Net] 12th International Symposium on Generalized Convexity and Monotonicity

The 12th International Symposium on Generalized Convexity and Monotonicity is the main triannual event of the Working Group on Generalized Convexity<http://www.genconv.org>. It is organized by the Institute of Mathematics, University of Debrecen<http://math.unideb.hu/en>, and will take place from

Sunday, August 27, 2017 (arrival in the afternoon)
to Saturday, September 2, 2017 (departure after breakfast)

at the Hotel Aurum in Hajdúszoboszló<https://hajduszoboszlo.hu/en/>, Hungary.


The Symposium will be devoted to the various aspects of convexity of functions and sets and their particular cases and generalizations. Since (generalized) convexity of a function can, in most cases, be characterized by the (generalized) monotonicity of its subdifferential, the Symposium also focuses on generalized monotonicity of maps. Besides the theory, also contributions on the numerous applications of generalized convexity and monotonicity in optimization and related fields are welcome.


Every participant is invited to give a 20-minute long talk (additional 5 minutes will be scheduled for discussion after each talk). As usual, besides regular talks, there will also be a longer invited lectures by the following plenary speakers:
