This is the second call for the *four annual IOS prizes*. We seek
nominations (including self-nominations) for each prize, due by *June 15,

*Khachiyan Prize* (for outstanding lifetime contributions )

*Farkas Prize* (for a mid-career researcher)

*Young Researchers Prize * (one or more young researchers -within 8 years of
their most recent degree- for an outstanding paper)

   - Committee Chair:  Michael Ferris (ferris at cs.wisc.edu)
   - Committee members: Jonathan Eckstein, Simge Küçükyavuz, Suvrajeet Sen

*Student Paper Prize *(Every nominee/applicant must be a student on the
first of January of the year of the award.)

   - Committee Chair: Vineet Goyal (vgoyal at ieor.columbia.edu)
   - Committee Members: Kiavash Kianfar, Javier Peña, Ermin Wei

Each of the four awards includes a cash prize of US $1,000 and a citation
plaque. The award winners will be invited to give a presentation in a
special session sponsored by the Optimization Society during the INFORMS
annual meeting in Houston, TX in October 2017.
