candidates to represent mathematical optimization in research and 
teaching. We expect competence in several high potential, future 
oriented research areas such as - theory and numerics of 
nondifferentiable optimization problems, optimization in infinite 
dimensional spaces, mathematical optimization with applications in data 
science or machine learning, optimal control, robust optimization.
