[Scip] deleting variables in solving stage

Dear All,

I'm using SCIP 3.1.1 with SoPlex and I'm dealing with a branch-and-price 
procedure. I would like to delete variables during the procedure but 
when I call method /SCIPdelVar/ I get error message, because SCIP is in 
invalid stage.
It surprised me since the documentation (both 3.1.1 and 3.2.0) says 
/SCIPdelVar/ can be called in stage /SCIP_STAGE_SOLVING/, so I've 
checked the source code and it is clear that method can not be called in 
this stage.

So, I would like to notice, that documentation is probably not up to 
date, and I would like to know if it is possible to delete variables (or 
priced variables) in solving stage.
